ReGenesis

Defines the rules for the reconditioning of raw materials resulting from unsold items and production waste, in full compliance with current regulations.

What is ReGenesis?

ReGenesis is a Protocol designed by Lisa Tavazzani, laying down the rules for the reprocessing of raw materials derived from unsold goods and production waste, in full compliance with current regulations.

Designed to support brands in the transformation of materials, from the logistics and dismantling phase of goods, ReGenesis aligns production processes with regulatory requirements, guaranteeing traceability and transparency along the entire
supply chain.

By mapping supply chains and with the integrated support of Temera’s customised waste management software, materials are tracked, refined and reintegrated into production through the brands’ sub-contractors.

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT

The purpose of the Project is to attest the compliance of the recovery, transformation and valorization processes of materials derived from industrial waste, unsold and secondary raw materials, thus promoting a traceable circular economy, in compliance with current regulations and in line with ESG criteria. ReGenesis aims at ensuring:

  • full traceability of the production chain;
  • compliance with environmental requirements (including LCA, REACH,
    waste management and recycled content);
  • adoption of social responsibility and governance practices;
  • valorization of recycled content and compliance with eco-design criteria.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION

ADDRESSEES: The Protocol is addressed to all entities, national or international, involved in the following processes:

  • collection, selection, treatment and valorization of waste or post-industrial/post-consumer materials;
  • production of compounds, semi-finished or finished products destined for the fashion, design, cosmetics, furnishing, automotive, packaging and similar sectors;
  • filing and digital management of the information necessary for traceability and environmental reporting.

MATERIALS CONCERNED: The Protocol is applicable to all those materials that can be reused according to environmental criteria, including but not limited to textiles, plastics, leather, paper, metals, glass, wood, composites and derivatives.
